How do I get to the library?

Wilkinsburg Public Library

The Adult Library is on the second floor of Wilkinsburg’s Borough Building, which is located at the intersection of Hay Street and Ross Avenue. The Children’s Library is on the third floor. You can get to these floors by stairs or elevator. There is a ramp to the building’s entrance on Ross Avenue.

By bus: The Borough Building is located near the East Busway, just a few minutes’ walk from Wilkinsburg Station. This area is serviced by many bus routes.

By car: Metered on-street and lot parking is available nearby. The nearest lots are located at 610 South Avenue (near Nancy’s Revival) and 713 South Avenue (across from Save A Lot).

By bicycle: Bike racks are located both on Ross Avenue and Hay Street, on the sidewalks around the Borough Building.

Eastridge Branch Library

Eastridge Branch Library is located near the intersection of Laketon Road and Graham Boulevard. The entrance is in the rear of the building located there, by the parking lot on Gaywood Drive.

You can get into the library by going down stairs or using the platform lift. Feel free to call ahead, if you anticipate needing assistance entering the library.

By bus: The library is near the P78 Oakmont Flyer bus line.

By car: Free parking is available in the lot in the rear of the building, located off of Gaywood Drive.

By bicycle: Bike racks are located in the parking lot.
